Pan bands from Tobago shine

Tobago blazed a trail for the first time this year in the Panorama competition. The island took six places, one in the large band category and five in the medium band category.

And to show its support to Pan Trinbago, the Tobago House of Assembly has agreed to supplement the cost of the bands' participation in Panorama of more than two million dollars.

In addition, Mrs. Davidson-Celestin addressed the issue of further allocation of funds to the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians Organization. TUCO has requested more than three hundred thousand dollars from the THA.
